About the ORGANIZERs
Maritime technology [Mari-tech / Maritime Tech] is an untapped development area. There are new opportunities, new problems, and solutions for entrepreneurs to conquer in the maritime sector as NYMIC matches them with VC’s and experts to speed up success.
NYMIC, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, convenes, connects and catalyzes ideas from forward-thinking entrepreneurs and maritime industry experts to identify and solve problems with new technology solutions.
With all the resources of the SUNY system at its disposal and operating under the auspices of SUNY Research Foundation, NYMIC provides events, small workshops/seminars, assistance to startups, access and connections to customers, investors, and the maritime industry.
They build bridges between entrepreneurs and investors to provide stakeholders solutions that increase operational efficiency, profitability, and aid with regulatory compliance for maritime and logistics companies to construct a more sustainable shipping industry.
